I realize this is off topic (lots of things are these days here, though), but has anyone here lived in Ecuador or Chile?

Chile I have not lived in Chile, but did over a year research, and I have very good friends there. It is on a definite place for vacation list. It came into very close 2nd as prefered place to move to for work and quality of life right after Colombia for me.
