Eco stuff

anyone notice today, I can only talk for cali but, many many vispas, and sort of flying ants ( hormigas) hurling themselves heroicaly into anything that causes death pain or itching, any light I put on tonight is invaded by mad insects doing the OKieKOKie and turn around, or simon says, you put your left leg in left leg out , entonces, the pool is like a gigantic sancocho de insectos, poor buggers, ¿time of the month or did they all watch jesus christo on rcn last night and have given up all hope?, yo no se, my mind is an open space, or is that a blank piece of paper, or whatever , you know

At least, there is nothing different going on in north Cali. The south is warmer, so you may be experiencing normal bugginess.

but true;
here in cali now is what they call winter, ( rainy season) look up the word " tropical" in a dicionary, colombia is a tropical country, and we will get more rain than sun until december thats why the valle del cauca is GREEN , abundant with maize and caña

I lived for a number of years in Cali and am married to a lady from there and NEVER heard it called winter. Maize not so much as arroz and caña. Lots of arrozals especially south towards Jumandi.

About once a month we awake to a bunch of dead bugs that look like a cross between a bee and a wasp. Last year the beetles nearly drove me mad. Kind of like a very high pitched whine.
