e-tickets

In the past, I was always issued paper tickets for international travel....but I just booked a flight to Barranquilla and was issued e-tickets (Continental). This will be my first time flying to Colombia with e-tickets....will I have any trouble?

I prefer E-tix to paper.

You should have no problem. I flew to Cartagena with e-ticket on Copa (award flight, booked through Northwest) in October. No problems.

A year, or so ago, Copa only used paper tickets.

I agree, e-ticket is the only way to fly, for me.

No problem, just had same issued by Avianca from Pereira to New York via Barranquilla, left without a glitch. Loved the airport in Pereira, is nice to have family with you until final boarding call near the gates!!

Nope not at all.

Colombia might be a developing country ,but that doesn't mean we still live in the mesozoic.

Nope. I had a trip to Colombia with 2 stops in the US each way, on three different airlines, and it all worked out fine.

You may or may not have any problems. However, there will be no problems inherant to the fact that you are using an e-ticket.

From personal experience there is about a 20% chance that you will encounter at least a few bumps in the road.

Hola!

E Tickets are the best!

1) You save shipping the ticket to you so you could save $30 or so!

2) I went swimming with my ticket in my pocket in CTG, OOPS! It was not usuable, but an electronic ticket would still have been usable. I flew back with Aero Republica for $50, since the price to get a 2nd paper ticket with Avianca costs $100!!!!

3) You can lose your ticket and still get on the plane, by just showing your passport!
