Scroll wayyyy down to the bottom, as far as your little mouse can take you. Then, you will see an option to the right hand side called "Do your thing".

If your posts disappear, go check there. They might have been moved.

Statistics? Management Analysis? Hmm? Sounds familiar.

I'm burnt out this weekend so I can't even read my newspapers. I have a teaching gig at night as well so I have to prepare lessons for my adult students in addition to grad school ( or Uni - how the Brits and Aussies refer to it). - and what not.

Like Kat, the Rock thread was a good distraction.

ManInRed, it's pretty much the same stuff I did in Uni (it hasn't been that long u know). Just that the PMP takes this crap to a whole different level.

I have only really been a project manager for 2 years, and I never used PERT on any of my bloody projects. I was starting to think PERT was really just a shampoo for people with dandruff, but then the PMI comes along and shatters my dreams.

scrolling frickin sucks...period. kat asked me a question somewhere in the hinterlands above, and by the time i got here, i forgot what she asked.... frick.

what did you ask me?

a picture, maarit? i gave up on having my photo taken 20 years ago. to show you one of those would make the gals swoon and the dudes hate me from envy. now, i just speak the truth about what ever...i'm older than most, have gray hair--long--false teeth and am of slight frame. a bit wiser than the average bloke...not that that puts me apart....on the contrary, it seems to sock me in the nose. because knowledge is no more than knowing when you're wrong. wisdom is admitting it. i suffer on both accounts.

can't be all bad, it got me here.

i/we feel like fish outta water. i can';t/don't want to work any more, sentencing us to a life of being poor, but happy. i rarely depress as i wear my life on my sleeve. like most who confront the truth that no one gets outta here alive, i lost my folks this last year; i''m stuck in daytona; and i'm poor like i haven't experienced in my entire life. really sucks. i've been rich, and i've been poor, and believe me, rich is better.

too, i dont even know how to post a picture. i have all this high tech equip and i don't know what for. my old computer which i used for years was easy to manage. i get one that cost's three grand and i don't even qualify for a license to use it. i need my youngest to come and guide me outta the shadows. now if that doesn't smack of al's heimers i don't know what does.
what i love most about my days, is all of you, the thoughts and conversations i share with you and visa versa. other than that, life in daytona is true fodder for the 'dharma bums' a no life life amongst nice enough people, it's just that their culture sets it's horizons at motorcycles, tattoos and nascar...of which i have none of the above. that being said, what do i do? knit? nah. bitch at the misses? nah beat my kid? nah sooooo, i chat with yall. and thank you for your input and output as well your distractions and skinnings down. i deserve each and every one. say me nay.

Robert Jorge says on Oct 20, 2007, 21:22:

Come now Douglas, no sniveling. To post a picture: Without closing PBH, minimize everything. In other words, hit the little "-" symbol at the top right of your screen. Then, log on the Internet again. This will bring up a new Internet connection ... your first has been minimized but is still active / Online. Then, type "www.tinypic.com" in the browser line. (That's the thing that you put addresses into to go to a website. When you get to tinypic, there will be an option to "BROWSE". Click on that. It will take you to your files. When you find the picture you want to share, hit "UPLOAD". Then, click on "COPY" twice. Assuming you accomplished what I just described, you are 96% there. Then, click on the little thing at the bottom of your screen that says " ******(Poorbuthappy)". That is the original thing that you minimized. It will come back up to where you were. You can type whatever dialog you want for your post. Then, when you want to "attach" what you copied from the other "thing", just right click and hit "PASTE". That's it.

Plato says on Oct 20, 2007, 21:35:

Douglas,

Thanks for your candor. I appreciate it. The internet can be both a wonderful and terrible place. Wonderful because you talk to people all over the world and share different points of views; terrible because it can be a big time distraction. But having good exchanges is not a distraction if one looks to them as an end in themselves. In other words, one looks to learn and grow personally, not just pass the time writing bullshit on completely inane stuff. I have to admit, I like doing that sometimes too. It's a way to blow off steam and forget the seriousness of life. I can't tell you how many times I read stuff here and cracked up laughing. My colleagues and family think I'm nuts. But it's good therapy I suppose. That's what friends are for even if they're in cyberspace. Just today I feel I spent the better part of my afternoon with Kat and Robert Jorge. Then Desi chimed in for a bit on my Rock thread. You were there too trying to mess with the Embed dilio at YouTube (What gives man? Dude????!!!??? Just kidding . . LOL!) PBH was great today!

Douglas, I would like to add you as a friend if it's o.k. with you. I've just begun reading your stuff, but I felt a connection with you in your last post.

Cheers mate and have a nice night.

Plato said what was on my mind also Douglas. Hang in there. I hope you didn't take my directions and cocky attitude as me being a dick. If I was, I didn't intend it that way. We need to get you to be able to post videos and pictures though. I have a feeling you have a lot to share ... and I can't wait to see some of your "stuff".

c) make a post whining about it

Por último pero no menos importante

e) Ask for your money back.

What money??
If you expect dollars sit back, not better yet lay down and we will reimburse you once the TRM gives you $4000 per one dollar.
