Is dollar so cheap? When I was there (a few months ago) it was something like

1 Dollar = 2,200 COP

I'll keep buying euros to visit Colombia.

=)

now today for about 2 hours, i read that SLV prospectus and i take that back that it is underlying silver....................no way.

I think it is just as much paper as it is silver.

I don't like the way it is worded............if you like I'll take out a few sentences and post.

I had that about 10 years ago when it was, I believe, Ocean Energy, and then it merged with some other company into TransOcean. it wasn't doing anything so I sold it.............but I only paid about $12 a share for it before the merger. with splits.... and ten years......oh......i'm cryin.

Example what I spent on rent, dinner, and just normal things is cheap...still in Colombia..The only thing I have found expensive is internet service, and imported items at Exito or Carrefour. Ahh fuel is alittle more expensive but drive a Moto so don't care...

Anyways..just commenting that even with the Peso strong things are still not expensive....compared to a year ago yeah..if your income is dollars..
