droble77 says on Mar 18, 2008, 10:19: If you live in NYC you can connect to Houston via LGA and JFK, Continental actually has several daily flights from LaGuardia apt. to their Houston mega-hub and 2 or 3 from JFK. So EWR (Newark) is not the only option in town if you're flying to Continental's IAH hub.

untreated says on Mar 18, 2008, 16:33: If you take the first or second flight out of NYC to Houston, you'll spend at least seven hours in Houston airport, why would you want to do that? A mid morning flight will get you there in PLENTY of time. If you fly before noon, you will not miss your connection (bad weather or peak holidays excepted). Remember you gain another hour flying from Eastern to Central time zone.
