My son would like to go to Colombia and teach English. There is a school in Bogota names ISSO. It offers the TEFL course for prospective English teachers. Does anyone have any information about this school? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Nicholas

You will need, among other things from the institution, recent bank statements (or parents), pictures, Gov. application and a fee.

UppercaseNIC says on Mar 21, 2008, 14:57: Gator! I have been to Colombia 3 times, and Venezuela 3 times....I may, in the future, move to eitehr country (well depending on what happens in Venezuela). I, as well as my son, have teaching experience. My son is 23 and I am the ripe old age of 50. If I could make decent money in Colombia, I would consider going there as well. However, from what I have read, a teacher there would only make around $500-$700 US a month...not a heck of a lot of money.
