Two journalists (an American and a Colombian) lived in the barrio of La Sierra in Medellin and followed the lives of three young people for a year. The journalists got permission from higher-up para commanders to film.

It is pretty intense. Kinda reminds me of the pointless, ignorant gang violence in the USA. That's kinda the angle of where this documentary come from.

These dudes are defending their turf from other gangs, impregnating as many young chicas (12,14,15 year-old girls being impregnated by 21+ yo Colombian men) as possible, smoking as much weed and sniffing as much cocaine as they could get there hands on, shooting off guns, etc.

I did see how a normal honest Colombian chica could end up in the puta game. It showed the progression. No gringoes anywhere in sight either.

By no means did it display anything very revolutionary.
