Do Colombians hold grudges, if so for how long?

I am going to Bogota next month and I would really like to see my old girlfriend. However, we didn't exactly part on good terms. That was like 6 months ago. Is she still mad? Moreover, if she says she isn't, how do I know she isn't going to set me up and have her brothers beat me up or something. I don't think that would be the case, but you never know.

Hola!

Let's put it this way.....My present Colombian GF calls my former wife of over 5 years ago a PUTA! She stated I was still after my OLD GF that I knew in Cartagena and came to the USA for 2 weeks! Yes, that was over 2 years ago!

She might not go and say to her brothers to beat you up. Do not expect her to want to meet you though! Six months ago is not much really. After 2 years she might talk with you via Yahoo Messenger. If she will not talk to you online or talk on the phone, do not expect to meet her in person!

Its been my experience that while they blow up over nothing pretty quickly, they aso forget just as fast. They(females) will gossip over it for years, never letting it go.

The 10 surviving brothers and sisters of my wife seem to hold a grudge for life, but then I suspect that they have narcissism in their genes.

I think it's more of a man/woman thing. Most of the active members here on PBH are men and therefore don't understand that most women hold grudges for a very long time. You can get f*ckd by your best friend and then talk to him a week later as if nothing's happened. Most women don't do that and not only the Colombian ones. I say this because even my american female friends, do the same thing.

I personally don't give a rat's ass about anybody and the less people I have around me making me miserable the better. They don't pay my rent or feed me so I just brush them off. Yeah, I'm a beatch and I love it! =D

And why would you want to see an old girlfriend anyway? It's done with, get over it, move on!!! Geez.

question, why would you want to see you ex if you didnt part under good terms? sounds like you did something wrong and want to correct it, am i right?
moreover, if you made her look stupid to her family and friends, or gave her a bad name, didnt put her reputation in the best light, your asking for a ass kicking, or a knife someplace
