Diving Gorgona (Pics)

Hi, this are some of the pics from my trip to Gorgona, now I'm a certified NAUI scuba diver ;). If you like diving you should not miss Gorgona it's an amazing place.

You can get to Gorgona by boat from Buenaventura, about 12 hours. The trip was arranged by Arrecifes del pacifico (http://www.arrecifesdelpacifico.com) which is the dive center where I got my training. The two days trip costs about 1 Million, you get all the meals and all the necessary equipment.

We saw the manta while doing our second dive, it was surreal to see that big thing above us. I must give some credit for some of the pics to my instructor, he took some of them.

Atrevido, there is a place close to el poblado called El planchon (which is a sunk dock) where you can skin dive it's about 30 feets, there you can find morenas, and different fishes, but to get to most of the places you must go in a sodiac boat and I don't think you can snorkle there because of the currents and rocks.

Scumbuster, you get:

- 6 dives (3 per day) if you're an advanced diver you can do an extra night dive.
- Shared cabin with air conditioned ( you sleep almost all the trip, and you arrive early in the mourning to Gorgona)
- All meals
- Snacks
- You can also visit the old prison
