I heard on Caracol radio today prepagos in Cartagena are starting to complain.
It seems there are several U.S. Agents along with Colombian Agents, who spend their nights at La Dloce Vita disco bar. According to one prepago they are there every night, wasting money on booze and flirting with the prepagos........
If this is true , I think the U.S. Attorney's Office needs to investigate the waste of
Plan Colombia $$$....................

miamimike says on Feb 27, 2008, 21:45: DD--I am well traveled in Little Habana and the areas you speak of! The truth of the matter, its one of my Favorite places in Miami. Real People of all flavors populate Calle 8, unlike that plastic jungle known as South Beach, replete with Fakes of all types! And overpriced Eateries, Bars, Ever Present Beach Towing Service(ready to take your car) Clip joints, Dishonest venders of all sorts. The Wet/Dry Foot law and the Cuban Freedom act of 1967(where cubans receive permenent residency in one year) are all Laws that are filled with fraud and that should be repealed. I have had some of my best times in Calle Ocho and Little Habana. In a few weeks, I will attend Little Habana's the Famous "Calle Ocho" Street festival. Its actually FREE, one of my pre-requistes for attending, LOL. I won't pay over $10 for an entrance fee to any of these Cultural Affairs in Miami! Too much Good Stuff for Free! Believe it or not, NOT all Cubans are the same. Like Americans, Haitians and Colombians, there are good and Bad. Only the Bad garner Publicity and these are the ones we always hear about. One nice thing about hooking up with a Cubana, you know she isn't after you for the Green card. And they are the Hottest Women, Bar none,,, "Wait a minute. What did you just say? LOL The Cubans were by far the best physical Specimens(as far as physical condition, disease free, lack of cavities ect) that passed through Krome from the Latin American Countries. "Wait a minute. Lots of Fun but NOT a Tourist Destination. No South Beach Types found there LOL,,, Further out on Calle Ocho are a few Colombian Tabernas and once inside, you would swear you were in Colombia, all Cumbia, Vallenato music, no english spoken and LOTS of Single Colombianas. No reason to go to Colombia if these are your target! LOL "Wait a minute. What did you just say? You're predicting $4-a-gallon gas? That's interesting. cali373 says on Feb 27, 2008, 22:49: It is not as simplistic as the post states. Most of the money from plan colombia is handled by USAID (the term makes me laugh too) and used to pruchase military equipment it is not provided to agents to implement plan Colombia. If there are alot of US or Colombian agents that are part of a plan colombia program, it is probably there salary and frankly I find it hard to believe that prepagos are complaining abot men spending money near them. Smile if you are a thinker! 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
