Did you select it and see where the stop might be? A rtn ticket can include transfers... was it on their specials list?

When I look on Travel Cuts, I see a flight from Toronto to Medellin with a one hour stop in Bogota. The Bogota Medellin segment is on Star Alliance partner Avianca.

Air Canada has offered Toronto-Medallo flights before. However they tend to be seasonal, September to March, for some reason. Otherwise, just Bogota. The cost of the flight to Medellin or Bogota is essentially the same.

Ive gone direct toronto to bogota...air canada..had to when i brought my wife to canada as she did,nt have a transit visa to go through the u.s. and it sounded like a pain in the ass to try to get one. Then used avianca from there to get to BQ.I most often try to fly through the u.s. as it seems i can get a better deal...sometimes use cheap tickets sometimes book the flights through the airlines myself.Sometimes do a little searching and got some good deals...one trip (alaska airlines edmonton -miami return 385 bucks canadian )plus 460 american (avianca to BQ return)....but aviancas prices seem to fluctuate...last trip down was cheaper to book the entire itineray through cheap tickets.

I'm so ticked off.. with the time change in the fall, AC moves their TO-BOG flight *earlier* - so I can't connect. BOO!!!
