direct deposit

I have heard Colombia employers offer direct deposit just like they do here in the states. I am making the assumption that what I heard is true but I still have a question.

Can I set up direct deposit from my employer in Col to my US bank account or is direct deposit only available on a national account?

Anyone have any experience with this?
