Uy Manco, Te gustan peladitas. Ja Ja.

Las de gimnasia son niñitas. Tienen cuerpos de niñas de doce años. No gracias.

Gimnasia = Niñitas

Voleibol = Mujeres

The silver medalist is not bashful (see asterisks below):
-----------------
Bogota - There was much celebration in the Colombian city of Tulua Monday after local weightlifter Diego Salazar won a silver at the Beijing Olympics in the men's 62-kilogramme event. Cheering fans in hundreds of vehicles adorned with Colombian flags were out on the streets of Tulua, in the south-western Colombian province of Valle del Cauca, a few minutes after Salazar, 27, won his medal.

Scores of people headed for the modest Internacional neighbourhood, where the sportsman's family lives.

Salazar won Colombia its tenth Olympic medal since 1972.

In Beijing, the weightlifter said his joy was undescribable. *****He also used the platform to ask his government to reward him with a house for his mother so that the family would no longer have to pay rent.

The silver medallist's mother, Rosalba Quintero, said she hoped the Colombian authorities would heed her son's request.********

The gold went to China's Zhang Xiangxiang.

The mother also said that her son was promised $6.000.000 pesos once and he was given only $1.000.000. President Uribe said Salazar will get $100.000.000 pesos from Coldeportes.

Salazar´s mothers works cleaning somebody else family, her boss gave her 15 days pay vacations and would give Diego a gift once he comes back.

When a reporter asked his manager how would he explain Salazars victory, he said Patriotism.

There is so much wasted talent in Colombia.

I don't know if there's much of an endorsement market in Colombia, but maybe Mr. Salazar can get his face plastered on those gallon jugs of protein powder or be a spokesman for a chain of gyms or something like that.

I have a gringo client who used to work for American Airlines when they had the crash in Cali. Their center of operations was in Buga. He loves saying Buga. The funny thing is that what he most remembers about Buga is how tight the women wear their jeans.

romy says on Aug 13, 2008, 11:32:

I have very good things to say of Bugueñas... though racist and elitist as they come. In Buga you had a lot of inbred children because people were forced to 'keep it in the family'.... I'm very happy my mom's family didn't share that idea. Though she was condemned for a while for marrying what was seen as a 'negro' because of his dark hair and dark eyes...

I like Buga as well and try to go to see El Señor de los Milagros every time I'm in the Valle. Tuluá is just ok, I didn't see anything mind blowing about it.

(But you didn't hear that from me) =D
