I have had lots of treatment by this dentist - very conscientious, speaks quite good English, a perfectionist. Cannot say if she is 'cheap' except to say she is half the price of any English private dentist. About 5 minutes by car from El Poblado area. Good luck - Francis (mention my name, you might get an even warmer welcome).

I got a crown and root canal done by my dentist in Unicentral Mall. Total cost was $432. It took five days and he did a great job (actually brought in another specialist for the root canal). My quote by my dentis in Naples FL was $2100. Contact me if you want his name and number. He speaks some English and he gets additional training in NYC every six months.

Catfish--one thing I want to add, stay away from 3rd party medical tourism agencies. They add an expensive middle layer to the price of your work while not really adding anything of Value to the End result, your actual dental work. You may want to check out the Clinica de Las Americas, one of the Lrgest and more well known Clinics(hospitals) in Medellin. They have an office that assists foreign medical tourists.
