Declaracion Extrajuicio

There Is No Real... Required form and this term in Colombia has very broad meaning when it comes to legal documents. I am assuming what you want deals with marriage. It will be a certificate that consists of a Declaration Extraproceso or Extrajuicio in which a declaration by you and signed two witnesses which states you are unmarried. Basically it states you have no legal impediment to celebrate a marriage. Also known as the Certificate of Soltería. I am also assuming you will be married in Colombia since this is not needed in the USA. You can do this your self. Just make sure it contains a written statement, sworn before a Notary, executed by two family members stating how many years they have known you and you have never married or are now legally divorced(court order of the divorce will be needed). Do the original in Spanish and it will not have to be translated. Must be notarized and apostilled before it is valid.

One tip-select the notary you are going to use in Colombia BEFORE you go too far. Provide EXACTLY what he/she wants and in the form needed.
