Decameron Cartegena

I'll be staying in Decameron Cartegena for 5 nights during the 1st week of June and my question has anyone ever stayed in this hotel? Do they allow any quests? I've already paid for 2 occupants. How's the beach around this hotel? The nightlife? Any recommendations for the single man would greatly be appreciated.

Decameron The hotel is a huge building with lots of rooms, it´s located on the Bocagrande area, across from the Beach. There are, I think, 4 or 6 restaurants to choose from, food is ok, and the drinks are included too (unless you order foreign brand names). The rooms are basic, not fancy. They have one disco and bar, but not worth the visit... you´d better head to the good discos in Bocagrande and in the old walled city.
There are two pools.

Cartagena
Watch out for the women on the beach wanting to massage you! The vendors are out in mass! No gracias will be your favorite phrase. The walled city is a must. Also a trip to Rosario Island. The castillo is very interesting. In the walled city is a bar with beds on the roof to chill on with your date, nothing out of line, just a cool way to hang. The beach is not as clean in Cartagena. You have to go north to Santa Marta for the pretty sand and clear waters.

No girls allowed! Forget it... they'll never allow you to bring company into your room. Decameron is a family hotel and they won't allow a drunk gringo with a local date.
