Of course not but did you ever notice the sun comes up about twenty minutes later in Buenaventura than Cali? Wonder how early sunrise is east of the Cordillera Oriental.

Gator says on Mar 24, 2009, 07:32: ???????????????? it's is a two minute difference-probably because the sun has to climb up the mountains east of Cali. "Bene, cum Latine nescias, nolo manus meas in te maculare" . 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

I did and it is as I stated in my post. It was as dark at 6:15 am on the road from Buenaventura to San Cipriano as it is in Cali at 5:45 am. The purpose of my post? Well I was surprised by a phenomenon that some like yourself are unaware of. https://sites.google.com/site/colombianaturesite/nature-images 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Lowell says on Mar 28, 2009, 12:15: From my upper patio and looking across the valley, I can see about 7 different levels of mountains all with increasing altitude. In tha mornings I can watch the sun work its way down the slopes of those mountains. Also the cloud formations are incredible. Often a mixtue of several type of cloud types. Sunset colors are outrageous. And at night, at times, a great lightnig show. People pay big bucks for vacations with views such as I'm forced to live with every day. Bummer. Alfred E. Newman. "What.
