Well i pretty much know da opinion that Colombians have for the U.S.A, but i've never really heard them talk about the U.K. Do they think that it's just the same as North America or that maybe the people are different?

b bruce says on May 25, 2005, 13:43: I have been wondering about the same thing? During my travels to Thailand, Honduras and Colombia over the last twelve months. I have asked the same question? While in Chiang Mai, Thailand, The Bay Islands, Honduras and in Cartagena. I have on to many occasions witnessed individuals from the UK totally in the piss and in many cases in a drunkin rage directed at the locals. On one occasion in Thailand it was directed at me as well. Homey don't play that game! I solved that problem in an instant! I saw on the TV this morning that they are attempting to bring the binge drinking to an end in the UK by doing away with the Happy Hours. A gal from Israel I met in Chiang Mai. Believes they are angry because England as a country today is irrelevant. Oh, And she said they are terrible in bed as well. Viva Colombia!

b bruce says on May 26, 2005, 08:08: My apology if I sounded anti UK! I didn't mean to sound anti UK! While in the U.S.Army I had the opportunity to train with 5 Parachute Bridgade Pathfinders in the UK and in the U.S. Some of the finist individuals I have ever met. I enjoyed my time spent in the UK and have met many fine brits while traveling abroad. Perhaps the wild ones are just soccer fans! Just kidding of course. I am sure there are plenty of ugly Americans as well. Sir Francis Drake certainly made life interesting in the region early on. He was certainly a thorn in Spains side! I have started reading about his exploits recently. Long Live The Queen! Viva Colombia!
