Cuidad Perdida and the guides...

I have a question concerning the Cuidad Perdida hike. From reading various trip reports, it seems the quality of the guide can make or break the hike, especially when they are in charge of the food.
Does anyone who has taken this hike have the name of a guide who was superior? If my timing is right, maybe I can coincide my trip with his.

wilson from miramar hotel base was our guide for 8 guys...2 porters in addition...all nice enough guys...food was good & enough of it...wilson had a small snack or 2 inbetween the 3 meals a day for all of us

..coffee was ready early in the morning which is one of my favs...personally brought along some ron that i shared & some smoke as did a couple of other guys...no problems with the crew.

...strongly recommend doing the museum in santa marta before trip.
