Anyone know anything about this place. Have seen a few U Tube videos and drove past it on the way to Paipa. Is it an IB school? Does it have a web site? Do they recruit uk/us teachers?

Bill Turley (Moderator) (Trustee board) (☼Travelguide writer) says on Jan 27, 2009, 11:55: I have been to this school. As far as I have heard it hires Colombian teachers who have finished at UPTC in English Language Teaching. One of the Owners is a Professor there, Miguel Angel Garcia. He has written several biiks that have been published by Magisterio Press. He approached me to be the Rector but I was enjoying doing nothing too much. I thionk it is the best English school in the area. If a qualified International teacher applied they would probably be interested. I have not been there for a couple of years though Mr. Bill Somondoco 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

AESA says on Apr 15, 2009, 16:48: I am an Assessor and Consultant to Country Bilingual School located in Combita. CBS is rated as a Superior Educational Institute by the Ministry of Education. The English Teachers there are very good and do come from UPTC. A couple of the Teachers are working on their Masters Degree in Linguistics. Needless to say, I am a Big Supporter of CBS as well as Colegio America School located in Tunja.
