Hi, I'm hoping someone can shed some light on my problem. My girl friend is a photographer from colombia and we have been dating for 9 months. I have an opportunity for her to help me with a project in africa. It's not a problem for her to enter africa as morocco doesn't require colombians to have a visa but she needs to transit thru the U.S. I have know idea what to do about this as I've read horror stories of people getting turned away! Sorry for the long message but I'm hoping someone may have gone thru this once before. Thanks in advance...

el flaco says on Jan 16, 2007, 02:06: No chance There is no transit at Miami, you have to enter the USA at the airport and then find your next plane and leave the USA. So you will need a proper visa for the USA. I assume all airports are the same. So I don't think you have a chance.

It should be possible for her to get that (it's easier than a tourist visa). If not, she can try to find a flight through Argentina for example. Poor but snappy 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
