Cost of Living in Medellin vs. Cali

Does anyone have any info regarding the cost of living in these two cities? Especially housing (rentals). Also, which would be an easier city for a foreigner to find work in? Thanks for your help.

Medellin: Will cost you around 2 million pesos a month for food and rent.

Cali: Will cost you around 1 1/2 million pesos for food and rent.

Medellin: Is more advanced and business orientated , but you can adapt and survive in Cali
just fine , look at Arthur Brode , he has learned the calles of Cali.

Hola!

The price here in Cali depends on how nice a place you like! You could live in Estrata 2 and be fine. I am in the Barrio Union de Vivienda in Cali now and it is numero 2. I do not think one must live elsewhere to be safe. How big is your wallet is the question where you will live?
