Coronel Byron Carvajal Declared Guilty

Coronel Byron Carvajal and the fourteen soldiers from the High Mountain Batallion under his command accused of massacring the ten drug police near Jamundí were finally declared guilty today after a fourteen month trial. The time they will serve however won´t be announced until April 21st.

I´d like to know what evidence was produced against those involved and whether they ever received a pay-off etc.
If they truly did knowingly kill those ten agents and the informant, they deserve to be stoned to death in the Jardin Plaza. But...I dunno, it just doesn´t ring true to me somehow. I hope they aren´t scape goats.
