Frequent flyer miles in Continental's program can be earned and redeemed on Copa. Also they honor CO elite level frequent flyer benefits. If you have status on CO, you should be eligible for upgrades on Copa.

Copa has the fastest flights from LAX To MDE with an 11/2 hour layover in Panama. Panama to MDE flight is on Aero Republica.

Copa does not charge for meals.

Copa has 2 movies on their LAX to Panama leg.

If you hit it at the right time or go through a consolidator their prices are good.

I really like COPA and their call line is very helpfull.
