Copa Fare Alert, from JFK to Bogota, Cali, Medellin

SALE ENDS TODAY

Fares as low as $339 or $343.

You will only find these prices at Orbitz. Dates available in April and May.

Go to airfarewatchdog.com and do a search that way to get to the Orbitz page.

Hope this can still help someone in the NYC area. I already have travel plans made for April and May so this is too late for me. . . :-((

Let's try to contribute some PRACTICAL info to this board people. Instead of useless flame wars on what gringos think of Colombians or why people who stay with mami and papi are really just a bunch of losers. As Elmo would put it, who fokin' CARES about that chit! :)

I'm NOT going to waste my time arguing such nonsense. I hope this post helps some people save some money. . .

Thanks for posting this... I can't fly out until June, otherwise I would be all over this one.

They said I couldn't play football I was too small / They say I couldn't play basketball I wasn't tall / They say I couldn't play baseball at all / And now everyday of my life I ball.

droble77 I believe you will find several airlines having sale fares to Colombia. We are in the process of booking flights to Bogotá and have discovered some excellent numbers. Do see on the airline sites a warning that the fares are for a limited time.

Fly COPA and Aero República!

You'd never guess we are a stockholder? Great airlines, and amazing teams.

Sorry for my shameless commerce ad for my carrier (at least a little bit).

I loved the airline enough that I bought it (a very tiny piece).

Thats amazing fare I just paid Copa direct 508.00 from MIA to MDE next weekend and both my flights in May are with Avianca at 473.00 which I paid Avianca direct. I have been noticing more and more flights departing not from Miami are cheaper....or South Florida. Copa must have a cash cow and demand for seats for there three daily flights to Panama out of MIA..What is interesting is that Copa was contracting ATA to do one of those flights per day out of MIA. and with ATA now grounded will be interesting next week for my flight..I have been checking daily to see if Copa cancels one of there flights out of MIA.. That fare is amazing out of JFK..Can't beat that...I only get those rates in the fall out of MIA... I have not purchased any of my June flights yet because of the rates and playing casino until something pops up..which I check daily...

panthdave, it was only a one or two-day sale. Usual Copa fares from JFK to Colombia are double!! I would have grabbed it but I have a trip to Spain later this month (family member getting married) and another to Brazil around Memorial Day weekend. I'm pretty much booked. . . :( . . . but hopefully someone else was able to get in on this.

Waiting for the day when Spirit adds a direct flight out of FLL to MDE.....that would be awesome..

At least AA is being forced to utilize some of their unused slots/frequencies. Don't they have 2 daily flights to MDE from MIA now? (although maybe not every day of the week)

I recently found out Contl. has unused frequencies as well! They have 3-4 flights a week (out of a possible 7) to Cali from their Houston hub. Why they don't try to use those 3 spare slots from Newark (many Colombians nearby in NJ) is beyond me. . .

Droble Yep AA has two flights daily out of MIA to MDE..now. They should move one of those to Ft.Lauderdale.. One out of MIA for connecting passengers and one out of FLL for your local crowd here in S.Florida.. Right now AA is not budging on there fares to MDE along with Avianca no codeshare delta..for the direct flight..I did catch Avianca on there three day promotion sale for tourists and bought two roundtrips at 473.00 for May two trips. Funny thing was AA didn't care and did not match Avianca during those three days..Ususally Avianca and AA match there fares within one day..on the MIA-MDE segment.

We need Spirit to get some action to MDE>>>just not Bogota and Cartagena..
