Contacting the Ministry of Exterior Relations

My fiance and I have been trying to contact the Ministry in Bogota with Visa questions all week without luck. We have a few phone numbers but whenever we get through they just ring and ring. Does anyone know of an email address that they will respond to or a phone number to call for visa questions that they will actually pick up?

Please give us a shot at answering your question. If not try (1)566 2008. AB's e-mail should be a good one but be prepared to wait up to two weeks for an answer. The office you need to deal with is on Carrera 13 No. 93-68 north end of Bogotá (Parque 93 area). The e-mail,
cyquejas at minrelext.gov.co, is current . ALSO TRY A FAX, (1)566 6444 and be sure and include your e-mail.

Again, post your question.

Here are our questions:

1) Once I have my visa de conyuje, what restrictions will I have to leave the country in order to still qualify to apply for citizenship in a few years?

2) Once the Visa is issued, how long is it valid for?

3) if It has to be renewed, does that have to been done in person also?

4) Do they issue the visa on the spot or do we have to go back and pick it up or what? and how long does it take to get it?
