Comcel SIM cards

Does anyone have experience with Comcel SIM cards? I went to Comcel office in Medellin to obtain it from what he told me it is 100.000 pesos for 100 minutes of domestic talk time. Does that seem pretty expensive to you guys/gals? Is there a difference where I buy the SIM from? Are there less expensive places to buy the SIM cards and minutes or all places uniform with price? Also, where's good happening place on Thursday nights in Medellin especially to meet some new friends and ladies? Thanks everyone.

gogopher go to a Carulla, they will get you a SIM for about 20k and then just buy the prepaid cards. Thursday nights are usually girls night at Babylon and in Oro Solido in La 70. Also in Poblado everything is open on Thursday and I think they have girls drink free thing.

I bought a Nokia phone with Comcell Sim and 20,000 pesos of time for about 70,000. You have to fill in a complicated form though and it takes a long time. If you charge up in a supermarket you pay 50,000 but get 68,000. You get a code on the till receipt and dial *600 and the code, seems a strange system but it works,
