buen dato.

adela I'm very traditional: fruit juices, sancocho de gallina, empanadas caleñas, el tamal valluno, champus...especially the last one.

My typical lunch is the one I eat at the school: boiled potatoes, meatballs, gravy and lingonberry preserve. Shredded carrots, mixed salad with tomatoes and lettuce, peas or yellow corn. Hard bread (knäckebröd) with low-fat spread. Water.

Cheers,
Desi

hey there are lots of colombians in london but i don't see them here in the forum tho! just quindioman and myself i guess :(

we have restaurants, nightclubs, shopping centres all over the place... north london: paisas - south london: Caleños not many people from bogota.. i wonder why?? you can find all sorts of colombian stuff in the supermarkets just go down to brixton market and they'll even speak to you in spanish! reggaeton is hitting hard here too i wonder what mr. greenday would say about that!

i'm quite happy to say that if i was to get homesick all i have to do is go to el pueblito paisa market in north london and i would feel right at home eating hot dogs a lo colombiano and listening to some salsa before hitting the colombian clubs in south london.
