Seriously, at work, corporate security rates travel to Colombia as an EXTREME RISK: Severe risk to employee’s life safety and high potential of loss of company assets should be considered. Corporate Security advises against all travel to these destinations.
It's right up there with Cuba and Haiti.

Of course, I'm still going back in a couple of months to visit.

So evidencing that Colombia isn't at its worst now is actually a very fair assessment, if you ask me.
