Colombians and Foreigners who like Electronica/House/Trance in Medellin

One of the biggest DJ's in the East Coast, Dj Boris will be playing in Medellin on June 27th at Carnival.

I highly recommend you attend if you in fact you like this type of music.

Sadly, as I'm over 14, I'll have to give it a miss...

Nice post Mitch. Let us know when other good DJ's come to Colombia as well.

Mitch what time do you think is he going to be spinning (after 330am?)?

Any connects on getting in? What the cover will be, etc.?

rhydewithdis,
Carnival is in La Estrella.
It usually gets crowded after 3 - 4 AM. To 11 AM and more.
Cover is usually 20mil. For this special event, you buy a ticket to get in.

To get there, take the Regional South towards La Estrella. When the highways stops running smooth, go through three major lights. As it goes up a bit of a hill and the main highway cuts left, continue straight. At the next light, turn right and just as you start to head up the hill it is on the left across from one love motel and just before "Motivos". It is always packed, so you will probably see that whole street completely slammed with people.

Listen, you will not be dissapointed. DJ Boris is the hottest thing here in NYC. Boris, Calderon, and Murillo basically own the scene here in NY, NJ, and CT.

That's great and the "tarifa" is reasonable too.

They wanted $50 USD to get into Club Space Miami for a 3 hr. PVD set and I said no way, will save the money for another CO trip.

Thanks for this info.

get down, get down. are you afraid of the boogie monster?

Mitch is Boris coming up to Canada at all?

PVD is unreal though... easily worth $50
Tiesto is coming here and I'm worried they'll make tickets $75+ because of his POPularity.
Best show this year we've had is easily David Guetta, who outperformed AVB, Above & Beyond, and Blank & Jones, Pete Tong too. We get Ferry Corsten in 2 weeks which should be very good as well.

Mitch, thanks yea I've seen Boris spin several times in NYC (I live in NYC). At Crobar a few years back and I also went to see him when I was in Amsterdam. Awesome times. Drop me a PM or the info here on the connects and/or where I can purchase the tickets in advance.
