Colombian Women

Hi All,

Okay, going to Bogata for three months (if I can find an apartment or house). I really want to meet some Colombian women. My question is this:

Do I need to join one of those agencies, or is it pretty easy to meet the women on your own? Maybe a dumb question, but would like to hear some opinions.

Thanks

search the forum... Because this is a subject that was brought up couple of months ago, it was quite a popular thread w/ over 100 response with one opinion or another. Personally, I think the regular internet dating sites like amigos, match, etc., or just going to bars, clubs, or just hanging out, are more effective than wedding agency. But it's your money.

Agree with caslug Add latinamericancupid.com to the internet dating sites along with amigos.com
If you have the time before you travel, it's possible to meet and interact with a potential partner on line and have a little insight to that person before you hit the ground. Worked great for me;-)

elmodefoque says on Oct 18, 2004, 06:02:

Dude, you don’t need a stinking agency. Once Colombian broads discover you’re gringo, panties fall right off. I ‘m not kidding! Instead of giving your money away, spend it on going to fancy clubs, the more upscale, the better the quality of Colombian broads, the better your chances. It don’t matter if you look like Danny DeVito, because as soon as they know you got dollars, to them you’ll be as good looking or better looking than Ben Affleck, or George Clooney.
Listen, I’m a perfect example of how fine Colombian broads think.
In Colombia there is nothing worst than to be Indian/Indio native. I don’t get one lousy glance from white Colombian women, and it will be unthinkable to bring me home to meet their parents. She’ll be disown and stoned to death by her neighbors, but when they find out I carry American Express Platinum, and good ol use passport, I’m welcome all over. God bless America godamn it!
The only reason I married a Colombiana was because she was the only one outta thousands of Colombian women that ever gave me a smile, even while not knowing I was from USA. Ok, I accept the fact that she was drunk, it was in a club, it was hard to see and my face was full of saw dust from falling on the floor face first, but we continued talking and I did not let out my top secret or my hidden powerful (WMD) weapon, until I was getting desperate ( thought I already had her number) and she was getting ready to leave with her friends, that’s when I blurted out, “by the way, the reason I don’t sound Colombian is because I grew up in USA” her ass was mine!

I am not trying to pimp her off on you but she is so sweet and beautiful I hate to see her squander her life away in Cali. If you might be interested my e mail is sweepy1955 at yahoo.com, contact me and I will send you some photos and her e mail or phone number..

I'm Okay! Hey Mike B,

Sent you an email! I just want to meet a nice girl. Tired of getting screwed by these wonderful american women! I will be there for three months just for this purpose. I figure that I should be able to find the perfect woman (at least almost perfect) in that time frame. Even if I don't I am sure to have a blast!

Colombian girls are easy” and that includes my young, lovely wife that now loves the crap outta me and I don’t understand why.
I know I was going to nail her eventually even with her not knowing I was living in the USA, but it would have taken shoving more food down her throat and drinks, maybe another 3 days of that. The only reason she gave it to me that same day I met her was that I needed it real bad, and I was desperate, sweating and getting the shakes so when she was saying goodbye and see you mañana, that’s when I had to tell her where I came from, USA, NYC. She sat back down and then dismissed here friends and the rest is history. God bless America!!

santiBOG says on Oct 20, 2004, 04:26:

Reality Check elmodefoque I have some news for you... not all Colombian women fall for the I-am-from-the-USA story. You married a slut.

0 funny, 0 helpful.

elmodefoque says on Oct 20, 2004, 06:12:

She’s a slut because I got her on all fours the first night?, damn, if that’s the case then just about every woman I met must be one. If a woman has drink with me, she’s going to get nail!! a little hint, in Colombia, show USA passport but in the USA, make them laugh even if it means dropping your pants and showing them your little wee wee, it don’t matter just make them laugh, it never fails.
I’m teaching her to be a slut becuase that's exactly what i want, but is difficult. Colombian women are brought up with that Catholic religion crap and look at sex different than what I’m used to here in the USA. She calls sex “cochinada” which is something dirty, maybe with me, I don’t know?, but is weird how they love walking around with their breast nearly exposed but in bed they need to take some lessons from American blondes.
Man, I been dying to get my wife to invite another broad in bed with us, but for them that’s unthinkable, I don’t understand, what’s the big deal?
I grew up in the Village, NYC, in the 70’s, I experience every crazy drug and sexual situation (except, gay sex) and dare to say that I had great influence in the art of threesome (one guy two women) and became quite a celebrity in a sex club called “Plato’s Retreat”. I also introduced New Yorkers to the art of donkey love which became the rage of lower Manhattan for a couple years until some crazy group accused us of animal cruelty.
My point is that I’m a guy with lots of experience and been around many incredible, gorgeous sluts, but I’ll tell you one thing, by far, my wife is no slut and that makes me sad.

utopiacowboy says on Oct 20, 2004, 21:10:

Now why would you want your wife, of all people, to be a slut? I guess it depends what you mean by slut. My wife is a very prim and proper paisa but she does not need to take any lessons from American blondes! She is also a devout Catholic who doesn't think that rules out "celebrating" the sacrament of marriage!

elmodefoque says on Oct 21, 2004, 06:21:

Then I must be a male “slut”. From the moment I bang my first donkey at 9 to about 6 years ago, after I got married, I was a promiscuous sonamanbiche. All my life I only known sluts and I really do like them. You guys are too young but you have no idea what it was like living the late 60’s to the 70’s in NYC, we were all big “sluts”. I was one long hair young Colombian dude and in those days Colombians where in, well, Colombians that looked like me, not the Uribe looking types, they were getting nothing from gringa girls, I was the man. I bang my friend’s girls and they bang mines. My brother married one of my girlfriend after I had nailed her every which way and got tired of her ass, but I continued banging her until they got divorced and moved outta town. It was no secret. Then, everything changes with the Reagan’s and their damn puritan ideology, but before him it really was sex, drugs and rock and roll.
I thought that my young cachaca wife was going to tell me to go f--k myself as soon as she got her green card. She got it, two years ago, but I can’t shake her off with a stick. I guess I’m stuck with her, but she’s kind of growing on me, like those fungus I used to get near my nuts, but the doctor took care of that.

the mother in-law arrives tonight, at 12 pm for a 744 hours visit.

elmodefoque says on Oct 21, 2004, 07:07:

Ok, and then explain this one to me because is driving me nuts.
While in NYC I was very sought after by stunning rich white girls, knowing damn well that I was one broke modefoque. All you find in my dirty bell bottom jeans was lint in my pockets.
That same me, a few days later in Colombia, walking alone in a bar and not knowing I was living in USA, would not get even a glance or time of day from women, but here comes an Uribe looking Colombian or gringo dude and the Colombianas knock each other down to get to them with panties half way down.
Back in Colombia in a bar/club with relatives and friends. Word gets around that I ‘m from NYC, now those same Colombianas are tripping over each other to get to me. Figure that one out!
I agree, for Colombianas the grass is always greener on the other side especially when is those beautiful green dollars.
Am I a bitter old modefoque?, hell yeah!

It's pretty obvious... There are "interesadas" and gold-diggers everywhere... but do you really think the cream of the crop in Colombia are these women who have a blue passport radar stuck on their head? The thing is, Colombia has such an incredible number and variety of beautiful women, even these left-overs look stunning to needy gringos (no offense meant to anyone here).

elmodefoque says on Oct 21, 2004, 10:09:

litos, I’ve seen the cream of the crop walking around, man, they’re outta this world. I got a better chance of wining the lotto (lottery) than landing one of them, even with my damn blue passport. I bet you do well, are they good in the sack or do you have to work up a sweat to get a reaction?
You gotta admit we got lots and lots of”interesadas” in Colombia enough for our gringo brothers and over the hill Colombianos from the USA too.

so u see elmo no all colombian girls get impressed by the green paper, yes there are some gold diggers at there but i think they will go with colombians or gringos as long they have money, and because colombian rich men hardly will notice a poor colombian girl because of what my mummy will say or shame of the girl background.americans tend to marry this girls without the shame of the family status, for some of them doesnt matter where they live or their economic situation,I seen cases of very poor girl marrying no wealthy but ok british guys.

gringosalsero says on Oct 21, 2004, 10:45:

I Dont Blame them for being gold diggers. From what I understand there is not a lot of career potential for Colombian women. My Colombiana tells me all the time how difficult it was for her to reach the level of a Senior Auditor for a big 4 accounting firm in Colombia. She has her CPA etc but is only making $1000 per month. I know that is a lot compared to the general population but most of the upper management career levels are reserved for the machismos. The Colombiana's have a choice it appears: Dig the gold or work abroad and make it yourself!

How many Colombiana born and raised, now living in the USA, will come back to Colombia to live with her first love, now working as a teacher, let’s say, Bogotá? None!
But you’ll find many women here, Sidneygirl, Desaria etc. that left the comforts of their rich countries to live in the third world with their Colombian boyfriends/husbands.
I wonder what chances does a guy from Guatemala, visiting Colombia, have in taking a lovely Colombian girl back home with him? “Mi amor prepara tus maletas que nos vamos a vivir a Quetzanltenango, Guatemala.” That lovely Colombian girl is only going to say “mira maldito maricon, usted esta loco? He’s got as much chance as a snowball in hell.
A funny thing, I been visiting this site for a few months now and I have yet to see anyone seeking info on how to bring their Colombian girlfriend to another third world country.

Is it true the "blue blood" wealthy Colombian men rarely... marry poor working class Colombiana's? Of course you might find this sometimes in the US but there are many exceptions and very often. as depicted in the movies, the rich guy does fall for the poor girl. Maid in Manhattan is a bit too Hollywood but families with "Old Money" find it very difficult to maintain those "blue blood" lines here in the US.

elmo is the guatemalan guy have money,is no problem. the girl will follow him to the end of the world. and for gringo salsero in the USA and Europe an older guy seem to be (mature) in colombia you still find rich old guys still living at home with mum and dad and never leaving neverland. they have to find the rich wife to substitute and please mum.and they go out looking for girls no older than 25 because they can't handle mature womens.while here in Europe men tend to leave home at the age of 18 that make them more independent and more mature sooner, and they will be able to decided later in life with whom they would like to live and spent the rest of the life with, with approval or no of the family. they may there own choices.

gringosalsero says on Oct 21, 2004, 11:51:

American males still look for approval from their family but.... the approval is rarely based on "blood" lines. More often than not the approval is based on education, good family values, etc. Remember, in the US you can attend Harvard or Yale if you work hard enough and get good enough grades. There are many underpriveledged students at those schools who do not have Texas Oil daddies!

Kat, it's becoming more common here too for the young people leave home a bit later. But even when they are still living at home they contribute their full share to the household expenses...some do!

Anyway, as I'm sitting here, three sheets to the wind, on my fifth vodka for the night, I was reading your posts about the sixties and seventies (I was in Colombia from the late seventies to 1990). You are so right about the mentality then!!! I can just picture you losing out in Colombia, but then those same qualities working for you in the US! But there was always this fringe element in Colombia, us gringitas, who took up the cause of you butifarra guys (to the horror of the upper class Uribe-types; they could never understand why some blonde would go for some wild guajiro or isleno rasta...hahaha)...carry on carrying on el-mo...you are el sabio of the board, reality-checking these wild-eyed gringos who think they have found the antidote to all their masculine deficiencies...
