Colombian VISA Assistance Available Here

For those of you wading through the VISA experience here in Colombia, I have a referral for you. For the past two (2) years I have used Catalina Rendon here in Medellin to assist me with my VISA (student - 1 year). She is a local paisa gal that has an international business degree and now has several years experience working to assist foreigners aquire their desired VISAS in Colombia. She has experience in student, work, investor, business, etc.

She can be reached directly at the following should you have a need. Her fees are very reasonable. Call her or send her an email with your specific need for a quote. She is bilingual and speaks fluent English.

Okay,

So I emailed Catalina Rendon and it took her a while to respond back. I think a week. When I finally talked with her I discovered that she does speak pretty fluent english and so I met her in Medellin. I had my Colombian girlfriend with me and she was pretty surprised that I would hand over my Passport to Catalina so she could have it for the three days that she needed to get me my student visa. You don't do that in Columbia. I would suggest you keep a photocopy.

Catalina had my student visa in three days. Unfortunately, it was only good for 6 months and not one year as I had hoped. But it should be pretty painless as far as I can see renewing it with Catalina.

I had one of you suggest in an earlier post that a student visa might be my best move and I can tell you that I really appreciated that suggestion and the post above because I know today that not only was that my best option, but Catalina made it almost effortless beyond having to show up at DAS a few times to get my Cedulla.

Like the gentleman above, I would highly recommend Catalina services. I think her main focus is connecting you to the right educational opportunities, but she was able to talk to her contact in Bogata about other visas options for me.

Okay let me add that my only interest is that:

I do hope to use her again.

I left out many of the details as to why she is so valuable in obtaining a student visa and cedula.

But I guess you should ask Vic about her first as he appears to know everything you need to know about this kind of thing.

Vicshere,

Oh I just realized I left out that I found her attractive. So my interest runs deeper then just using her again. WTF do you get off on such trivia matters? It was a total waste of my time responding to your comment. They do have surgery available for that problem.
