The best are in the Q boro The best, authentic Colombian resturants are just over the 59st bridge in Queens....just follow Northern Blvd or Roosevelt Ave into the 80's.. can't miss'em...

COOL COLOMBIAN RESTAURANT NEEDED! It's unfortunate to see that Colombians and Colombiaphiles DON'T have a restaurant of their own to indulge at in Manhattan.

Most Colombian restaurants are in Queens and they are very PROVINCIAL-looking, little creative and somewhat regular foodwise.

A COOL, trendy and innovative Colombian restaurant SEEMS TO BE the perfect idea for a business in Manhattan.

A Nuevo-Colombiano Restaurant might be the answer we all are waiting for.

DOn´t forget NJ Bergenline Ave. has tons of them! You could take the 190 bus from Port Authority (making sure it´s the one every hour that stops in Union City or you´ll wizz right by out to Secaucus and eventually out to Paterson where actually there also are many authentic COlombian restaurants)

Or drive out of the Lincoln Tunnell and get off the first exit around the viaduct and hook up with Bergenline.

Happy eating

I second that modefoque... I also have mad love for those mofongo, mangu and chimichuri eating, and chinola drinking Cibaeñas from Dominican......

And from experience many show the same love in return...;)

There used to be one by where I used to live in manhattan, it was on sherman av an 211 or something like that, WAY up there. Don't know if its still there or not.
I still say La Hacienda on 37th av and 87th st is the best Colombian food in NYC.
Once you get to roosevelt in the 80s you are about 4-5 miles away from the bridge so its not quite 'right over' it, especially with traffic.

BOGOTA BISTRO : COOLEST Colombian / Latino Restaurant The COOLEST and BEST Colombian / Nuevo Latino in the area is in Park Slope, Brooklyn.

I highly recommend BOGOTA BISTRO which recently opened.
