Here is a little tech trick. Most of the Colombian radio stations allied with Caracol mask the actual URL of their Streaming Media. However if you paste this URL in your browser it will open Caracol in RealPlayer without having to go to their web page and use their embedded player.
rtsp://a1639.l1058032265.c10580.g.lr.akamaistream.net/live/D/1639/10580/v0001/reflector:32262
Now the fun part, try adding in increments of one to the reflector, for example same URL as above and change the last digit to a 3, now you will listen to Radio Activa. You can go through all 10 of their URLs in this manner. Some have a terrible ground loop hum in their equipment, but others don't sound bad. Vallenata is overdriven so watch out.
Hope this all makes sense.
I just ran the digital S/PDIF coax from my PC's sound card to one of the digital inputs of my preamp. The result is good to excellent sound from all over the world on my home stereo depending upon the stream rate. By the way Rubiazo, I fixed the ground loop hum I mentioned in the PM, just wound a toroidal and that took care of it.
Sorry if this topic seems slightly nerdish (is that a word ?).

If Tinto will at least make it a sticky post so I don't have to look for it when I want to add a station. If Peter is reading this it might be a good post to add to the PBH Guides.

I wanted to hear some radio stations, but my PC is old so I cannot install Windows media Player series 9 'cos the computer gets wrecked or something like that, anyway install that shit didn't help me so much. So I found a program called Winamp 5.5, and guess what? some radio stations worked so far so good!
