Colombian news headlines | humanitarian crisis worsens, three hostages freed, peso is causing hunger, colombia denies increase coca

Hi guys, here's the news for today.

The FARC’s plan to impose “compulsory military service to the People’s Army on all children over 15, caused over 113,000 to leave their villages the past few months. Despite government announcements the FARC is on the losing hand, the humanitarian crisis is worsening.

This is terrible news. FARC conscription can destroy the country as we know it. who's winning the war on terrorism? we need a different strategy... a different 'commander in chief'... the propaganda screen continues to fall apart.

Colombiareports- it's funny how you present 2 harsh realities of the country and counter it with 2 propaganda articles each time.

The sinking dollar has cost 12,000 colombians their jobs.
But go Peso, keep rising, it's great!
Right?

wages are up? hmmmm. not for the 99% of colombians who could REALLY use the raise. i don't think there's an employment statistic in colombia i'd trust. waaaaay too many variables and hundreds of thousands of non-statistal unemployed.

i forgot, rubi, they do raise their own food. if they didn't, they damn sure wouldn't eat. that's the first order of business for them. even the capos understand and don't get in the way of their edible gardening. take a trip out east antioquia way and every patch of land with some form of shelter will bear witness to this. regardless the amount of coca in cultivation. workers who don't eat, don't work.
