Although it may seem like a native it is in fact an introduced animal, they are numerous ll over Colombia except in the jungle areas, actally they are more likely to be found in cities such as Cali. I am of course talking about Gringobobo Pastyassus .

Do you mean endemic? That means it exists in one area and no where else. I don't what Colombia's endemic mammals are but there probobly are some. There are quite a few endemic bird species. The largest mammal native (but not endemic) to the country is probobly the Spectacled Bear or Oso Antiojos.

Elmo and burros... Elmo,

I know burros are special to you, but others enjoy burros in other parts of the world. Maybe they dont enjoy them as much as you, but who knows. ;) jaja

Yes, burros are very special to me; I was actually born on top of one. During our clan’s yearly migration from La Guajira to La Sierra Nevada my mother gave birth to me while she was riding her burro. She was not feeling well during the long journey and I popped out all of the sudden landing on my head with my umbilical cord still attached. Luckily my grandfather was riding just behind my sick mom and picked me up. Due to her illness I was given burra milk for the first 6 months of my life, after that it was mondongo.

I'll get there, when I get there!

I think Jesus was almost born on one too! Luckily they found a manger at the last moment, otherwise it could have ended up quite differently.
