Colombian music

Just came back from two weeks in Colombia and had a great time!

While we were there, we heard a song about 100 times: a sort of a salsa/ballad crossover thing, with a catchy trumpet line, and sung by a male artist. Does anyone know what it's called and who it's by?

Thanks,

Flisty and Edward

Could be anything Bit late for this now. But if you had have bought one of those three-CD compilations off the street with the latest hits, it would have been on there for sure.

Need more info.. You really need to give some more details of the song. Narrow it down to an artist or at least a chorus!

Just one guess, cause this song has been played everywhere for the last couple of months and it fits your description: Marc Anthony, "Tu amor me hace bien".

Thanks! Thats the one! Thanks loads for that. We knew it was a bit of a long shot, but couldn't think of a better way to describe it. But it was playing absolutely everywhere!
It will definitely remind us of our holiday, and hopefully we'll make it back to Colombia again soon!
Thanks again

BushLawyer I agree, this is a wonderful song that just happens to have special meaning for me, we played it several times till late in the night on the day of my novia's graduation party in Cali earlier this month, with my novia impersonating J.Lo and a friend of hers impersonating Marc Anthony (we were all wasted, but I managed to record one of the sessions with the camcorder), wonderful wonderful memories. It's the kind of song that inspires one to want to just tie the knot with that special lady . . .
Thanks for reminding me what a good time I had in Cali recently.

They were playing "Pasame la Botella" by Match and Daddy Yankee all the time in January.
