Colombian Independence Day Festival in Miami - Meet-Up

Hi All,

This coming Sunday, July 23, 2006 the “Colombian Independence Day Festival” will be held at its usual location at Miami Fair Expo Center (Tamiami Park) in Miami. The entrance will be $25.00 USD. The festival will be from 12:00PM until 11:00PM or later. The performers will be;
Victor Manuel
Fulanito
Aventura
Zion & Lennox
Los Corraleros
Jorge Celedon
Group Niche
Silvestre Dangond
Omar Geles Y Los Diablitos
Sonora Carruseles
Binomio De Oro
And some other special guest

I went last year for the first time and I had a lot of fun with; the event, food, people and performers. I met a couple of PBH members. I would like to know for all of you guys that live or are in the Miami and / or South Florida area if you guys want to meet up? It would be nice to see some of the people with whom we write with on this website. Let me know if you would like to meet up and have a few drinks or beer, some Colombian foods and enjoy the Festival and its Colombian performers.

Good luck,

Peter Miami

Elmo I sent you all my details, my cellular phone numbers and e-mail addresses. Check it out and let me know. I am trying to take off Friday and go out on the boat like I mention before. I have been checking the weather and it does not look too good with the tropical depression. Let’s hope it moves north rather quickly.

Where are the Colombian People of South Florida? Where are the Colombian people and the people that want to support Colombians and Colombian business in South Florida? I am not Colombian and I am fire-up about going to the Colombian Festival to see; Colombian people, foods, artifacts, novelties, performers and have a good time.

Peter I'm going to pass on the Festival Sunday As I mentioned, I feel $25 for an Event in the Hot Sun, with the possibility of Rain, is more then I want to Pay. Thanks for the Offer. As I mentioned, none of my Colombian Neighbors are going and the reason is PRICE. They all have families and for them it is an expensive ordeal for a few hours. Not my Words, words of Colombians who live in Miami.

Had a great time. Well for those of you that missed the Colombian Festival in Miami let me tell you it was excellent. They only charge $20.00 USD for the entrance not $25.00. I started a thread called “Colombian Festival in Miami”. It was great and I gave details of the event. Did not have the pleasure of meeting any PBH member but hopefully next year.
