Your lucky to have found one event... I was thinking the same thing, not one single festival to celebrate our Independence. I’m meeting up with some friends in the west end, to celebrate it. But some sort of carnival should have been arranged.

About the Colombian couple, I saw them in La Mazorca a few weeks ago and their really good, nice spectacle.

Larumbera, don’t search Miami, celebrations because you’ll be depressed all year. Imagine a couple of years ago I was in Flashing Meadow Park in NYC, with thousands of Colombians, watching a FREE concert, celebrating our Independence, with the likes of Jerry Rivera, Victor Manuelle, Los Hermanos Rosario, Dario Gomez and loads more.

And today im here at work, counting the hours.!

Wishing you guys were here. I feel sorry for you guys. Because it has been pure 100% Colombian parties at different clubs every night here in Miami and South Beach since last Thursday. I have taken my new Colombian wife too a bunch of these events and they have been very good. I am dead tire at work and she sleeps all day and gets rest up for the next one. Have a good one and Happy Colombian Independence Day!

Regards,

Peter Miami

Yeah - boring, boring, boring..Gabsi4ever - let me know if any other events in La Mazorca - (love the food there)as we go there quite often. Considering London has a huge Colombian community it's pretty crap not to have any bands. Will go away in my campervan instead and blast out Salsa on the campsite!

There is still the annual Latin American Festival to be held in Burgess Park (SE London) on 6th August. I always find it to be good fun.

Cheers Cockney C Had forgotten about the Carnaval! Husband is in foul mood and says he won't go but I showed him the line up and he was reading it carefully . I'll go anyway. Say some clips from last years on www.latinculture.net and it looked good. He is Colombian, not me so he should be more interested but life here has good to him so much he is just in a bad mood all the time!
