tommy......I'm visiting orange county, now; your best bet would be to ask in Santa Ana.

I know there is a market in Redondo Beach, but I don't know the address.

I live in orange county as well and I have never had Colombian food. Do you have the phone numbers from these restaurants?

Hi guys... Okay, I lived in Orange County for quite a while... The answer is Noooo.... there is "No Colombian Supermarket" in Orange County.... Actually, there used to be a Colombian Restaurant down in Lake Forrest... But, I don't think it's still around... The place to find Colombian products will vary... you probably wont find them in Santa Ana... To find Colombian products you have to go to a small chain of SuperMarkets called Liborio's... They carry all sorts of Latin American items... But, they are in L.A. as well, I don't remember coming across one in Orange County... But, it's in Huntington Park, like 30 minutes from OC.... Also, if you find the nearest Vallarta's, again in LA, they carry a selection of Colombian products... I'm up in the High Desert and buy my colombian products at Vallarta's... Arepas (choco, queso, regular), Postobon, Pony Malta... Maza para buñuelos, y pan de bono... Speaking of buñuelos, if you do go down to Huntington Park, there is a Colombian Bakery called "El Carriel"...

Vincenzo.... Chibcha is off Sunset Blvd, in Silver Lake, I think the cross street is Silver Lake Blvd... La Fonda is in Hollywood, off of Western, cross street is Western... Cafe Colombia is in Burbank, I don't remember where, since I wasn't all that impressed... There's a few other Colombian restaurants in the San Fernando Valley, up in Van Nuys....

Tommy,

Try Luis Market in Downey. Not too far from OC. It is a small south american market. They sell, postobon, aguilas, pony maltas, all the crap needed to make arepas and other stuff. Bunuelos etc.

I know of about 4 or 5 Colombian restaurants in LA, none in OC that I know of.
