Colombian Honesty: Los pobres son pobres porque querien?

Let's not deny that many problems in Colombia exist, diminishing the existence of the many poor hard-working Colombians who struggle everyday to survive.

Everything is NOT honkey-dory in Colombia as many on here would like you to think. That's my point.

And, since this is the "Colombian" section of PBH, the topic and videos are in relation to Colombian, not Mexico City and/or Che-ka-go.

No one is feeling sorry for anyone. I'm just reminding everyone about the plight of many in Colombia whose lives sometimes seem to fall under the radar over all the talk about how great Colombia is, not that it's not.

In Colombia there are people that literally die from hunger!.

I believe that even the poorest of the poor in the US have something to eat everyday. In Colombia many don't.

DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT FEED THE TROLLS...

doug....you'ld do well not telling the old guard 'what to do' here...you being a newbie. simple courtesy. too, this being a forum on colombia, it's culture, food, music, families, ups and downs, problems, etc, such issues in their panorama, are brought to the fore. were we speaking of zimbabwe, their issues and attrocities would be on the table. try seeing what is being placed on the table for review and examination, rather than criticizing the posters, their method and their message. other than that,

welcome aboard, douglas w martin, t.e. oldie
