Good links. This doesn't go back far enough to list some of their worst offenses. Two that aren't on here that directly affected family members were the Parque Lleras bombing in 2001 and the gas cylinder attack on a small town in El Huila in 2000.

I'm sure cassini/buggy will stay as silent as he normally does when confronted with facts.

Great link! It's amazing how there are low-lifes who still try to justify these atrocious acts.

Dwmte,

Those low-lives have their apologists everywhere, even here.

point possibly well taken, simon... it seems that atrocities abound around the world and still loosers, low lifes, no lifes come to the fore with defense of these crimes. when measured on a world scale--with no defense of the insurgents in colombia--these types of heinious crimes are far more pronounced in other areas. zimbabwe, n. korea, iran, where countless thousands have gone missing or--and worse--are publicly murdered. again, with no defense of the calousness of colombias guerillas and paras, they seem to have come up a tiny bit in relation to the rest of the world where these atrocities abound.

hopefully, now that marulanda has made his exit, and a measure of sanity appears to come to the fore, those responsible for these crimes will lay down their arms and return to a life which cherishes mother colombia and brings her forward in the realm of human liberty and human rights....not to mention human dignity.

When was this time?? this time would necessarily be pre-colonization... even then the Aboriginal empires that existed abused many. Perhaps back to the days of Pangea, caves, and such...
