Colombian crossing us-canadian land border station.

Can a Colombian citizen with Canadian residency papers but no Colombian passport get into the United States at a land crossing point from Canada with only the Canadian residency papers and no Colombian passport as well? Anybody know? I would say no.

You need a US Visa you can get.. I know of a couple of people that got US Visa with no problem since they had Canadian Permanent resident status..

You will not be able to cross with your Colombian Passport without a US Visa.

No visa = no entry for Colombians (with or without passport, PR card or no PR card).

My Colombian wife, with Canadian PR card, will have a very difficult time getting a tourist visa for USA because I have dual citizenship. They automatically assume that we will apply for her US residency from within USA.....even though we only intend to visit.

There are border stations that are not manned 24 hours a day. So it used to be anyway. A Colombian I work with was asking me about this in Montana. I am becoming a little suspicious like why would this Colombian in Canada want to know about the land border and supposedly he has no passport in Canada? I see this guy I know looking to rent a car in Great Falls, MT? Kind of odd?
