Hi
I am a colombian who is going to get married in the US and I want to change my name after my wedding.
I wonder if any of you (or your colombian wifes) has gone through this process before. I just dont really know how do you do with your passport and all of your colombian documentation.
Thanks
Silvia

Finally we just waited until we returned to Colombia and made the changes there. Here your best bet, I would think, would be to meet with someone in one of the Colombian Consulates and discuss what is needed. Miami and Houston seem to be the most efficient. At a minimum you will need your original cedula, translated copy of marriage certificate with an apostille. "Credidi pretio parvo emere et magno vendere tibi in animo fuisse!" . 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
