Looking for a Colombian Bank that has online banking so my wife and I can view an account from the usa. My wife and mother in law are going to open a bank account that we will deposit money to in Colombia (being a gringo I can't open account) for a future home purchase. Any advice for which bank to use??? Is there one bank that has a good online banking site like those in the usa?? We currently send money to Colombia through atm w/d's from a card i gave to mother in law during last visit so i'm not worried about wire fees.
Thanks
Brad

Conavi has always treated me right, with a minimum of red tape and very very easy for a Colombian to open an account. You can get an account yourself if you get a Cedula(national ID), It can and will take months to get one though after you apply. Hey, careful, man, there's a beverage here! 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

They not only let you control your accounts but also they are very well linked to all kinds of private and public institutions allowing you to pay anything from property taxes to school tuitions.
