Colombia and Israel relations

Colombia–Israel relations 101

Colombia–Israel relations are the diplomatic relations between the Republic of Colombia and the State of Israel which were officially established in the mid-1950s.

History
In 1947, during a United Nations session, General Assembly Resolution 181 recommended the partition of British Mandate Palestine into one Jewish and one Arab state. Colombia abstained.
In the mid 1950s both countries officially established diplomatic relations and set up embassies in Bogotá and Tel Aviv respectively. Relations improved tremendously in 1988 when major trade agreements were signed between Israel and Colombia.
Technological cooperation
Colombia has purchased planes, drones, weapons and intelligence systems from Israel

I have decided to post the Colombian and Israel relations topic to share the history of Colombia and Israel with the hardcore atheists and the anti-Semitic thugs who apparently are the majority here in Poorbuthappy and these Internet “scholars” who are trying very hard to educate us as to how they would like us to see their ColUmbia.
I am also AGAIN, would like to invite all Colombians and anyone who might be interested join us on this event:

Colombia, Israel and rogue mercenaries

Outside assistance with Colombian 'counterinsurgency' efforts in the form of Israeli 'expertise' has created dangerous rogue mercenaries and prolonged a bloody conflict.

By John CK Daly in Washington DC

Colombian Defense Minister Juan Manuel Santos has acknowledged that Bogota had quietly hired a group of former Israeli military officers to advise local defense officials on their counter-insurgency tactics against leftist Fuerza Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC) guerrillas, the Colombian daily Semana newspaper reported on 10 August.

So there's Israeli mercenaries in Colombia? I hope they're shot. But there's British and Irish mercenaries/terrrorists there too (and I hope they're shot as well)- but none of them are representatives of their race and nation. Anymore than drug cartels are of Colombia.

"..Israelis deal with terrorists on a a constant level..." Any one on PBH ever been to g-block? Uh.. I mean gaza? You will Quickly learn who the real terrorists truly are.. Don't get me wrong.. I LOVE Israelis (in general) But I cant stand The Khazar fake jew, ashkenazi, fascist, land stealing thirteenth tribe. Arabs are closer related to Jews than these zionists. They are NOT descendents of Shem
Maybe.. if they were really Jews (ashkenazis, who make up app. 75% of "JEWS" today), then maybe if you could use religious entitelment as an a reason for stealing land and homes.. do u see were i am goin with this? Stealing land and homes? STEALING land and homes.... And you wonder how these "so called terrorists" are bred.. you reap what you sow....I have very close Israeli (Sephardic) friends who feel the SAME EXACT WAY. Prior to the zionist movement they got along great with the Arab Christians and Muslims.. Freekin Rothchilds..

Pinche.. One thing about Israelis.. they like to stay up all night.. I used to have a close Russian jew freind in NYC.. Could stay up for four days straight... on Mediocre stepped on crappy coke....(originating from colombia of course)... Ah what a combo.. Jews and Coke.. Or is it pizza and coke or chines.. well u get the point...

Thanks Romy, that's the dumbest opinion I've seen this week.

Run that sentence by me again: "Outside assistance with Colombian 'counterinsurgency' efforts in the form of Israeli 'expertise' has created dangerous rogue mercenaries and prolonged a bloody conflict."

So, the government brought outside consultants... shame on them for "prolonging a bloody conflict". I guess they should just surrender to the FARC instead?

Pedro, what opinion? The Israeli involvement in training paramilitaries has been somewhat exposed, to the point that convictions have been made. Or do you have evidence that proves Klein's innocence?

Romy, the "dumbest opinion I've seen this week" really relates to this:

"Colombian Defense Minister Juan Manuel Santos has acknowledged that Bogota had quietly hired a group of former Israeli military officers to advise local defense officials on their counter-insurgency tactics against leftist Fuerza Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC) guerrillas, the Colombian daily Semana newspaper reported on 10 August."

If Israelis are training paramilitaries illegally, then sure they should be subject to any laws they've broken. But the suggestion they shouldn't be advising the legitimate government is absurd.

Also, you will find some amount of corruption amongst pretty much any group of people, no matter how respected the institution. What approach do you suggest for finding partners with zero corruption in the real world?

Israel kicks ass and does not really care that much about what others think about them except that if you deny their right to exist you are going to be perpetually threatened with an overwhelming response to provocation. A response that many in the western world including the USA and most likely Colombia will remain rather silent on.

BB- I never claimed it to be new...btw, do you think Klein will ever be sent to Colombia to pay for his crimes? kind of like the captors of Ingrid...

Pedro- The article points out the irony of the situation, paracos and military resorting to the same group of people, I'm not sure how that's a 'dumb opinion'. I think the critics preferred US or British support instead.
