Colombian Dia de la Independencia fiestas worldwide.

It is a bit early, but how about we post the dates, times, locations and different acts that will be appearing at the various fiestas around the world on this post. This we we could keep each other informed and can join in the festivities near us.

In Orlando it is scheduled for July 17 at Festival Park, no word on musical guests yet, but I will post when I find out.

Hopefully some of the posters in Central Florida can meet up at the fiesta.

Hi Mateo, I heard about this on the local Colombian radio station as well as read about it in Colombia Positiva a local Colombian newspaper, you can find the paper at most Colombian stores and cafes and it is free. As I mentioned on another post you need a special radio for the Colombian radio station, costs about $25. The music to be honest isn't great, much of it is ancient, they even have an hour of old tangos for the paisas. It is nice to listen to a football match and the news though.

I haven't been to Club Copa for a few years, but it was hopping when I went, Club Cana Brava is supposed to be good too.

Thanks, but the only Colombian store that I am aware of is a bakery on the corner of 434 and 17-92. If you could point me towards other Colombiam stores it would be helpfull

Mateo PM me and let me know what part of the area you are in and I can hook you up with plenty more. Just down 436 from 17-92 is a Colombian hamburger place, I can't recall the name, but when I get home from work I can PM you. Further south on 436 there are lots of Colombian places, also down on 441 towards Kissimmee. More on Oakridge Road. Plenty on Hwy. 50 too. There is a nice place on 436 in Forest City just past 434 too.

Excellent Chapin, that's the sort of stuff I was looking for. Looks like a great club, I will add a link from my site. It means I need to add a new category, but it is an awesome site.
