Actually, you couldn't be more mistaken.

Argentina is currently the best international football team in the world. And yes, as a team, Argentina are definitely better than Colombia. I pasted a link above which shows it. No one would care if they beat the USA (except Mexico who have a psychological problem against them for some reason) because the USA really are not very good on the world stage of football.

Saying that Argentina's football team is no different than Colombia's is mind-boggling in the first place, but to use the fact that they are a developing country to justify such a comment is even more confusing and inaccurate.

Aunque el empate hubiera sido lo mas correcto. Pinto acertó con los cambios del segundo tiempo, ya que tanto Grisales como Moreno le dieron mas empuje al ataque de Colombia. Aun asi si Messi convertia esa jugada del segundo tiempo que pasó lamiendo el poste...otra era la historia.

Comentarios al margen. No se porque lo expulsaron a Tevez, ya que la television no lo mostró. Si alguien lo sabe, me gustaria saberlo. Imagino lo que hubieran dicho si era al reves. Espero de corazon que este triunfo les de conviccion, para seguir poniendo garra como hicieron en el segundo tiempo. Y que todos apoyen a Colombia, en las buenas y en las malas. Hay que saber perder...eso es humildad.

Sí clases de humildad pero no para vos... como en esta vida hay de todo, también hay argentinos muy radicales como algunos colombianitos (de este foro), tan solo ayer un amigo argentino me dijo entre risas burlonas "los colombianos creen que nos van a ganar? jajajajajaja" Eso me molestó mucho... y sí creo que vos tenés humildad, jamás me referí a vos... en mi comentario sólo me referí a los argentinos cabeza dura que no saben perder y me da gusto que algunos colombianos tambien sepan ganar... y también estoy de acuerdo con vos.. en el tiempo podés leer comentarios hablando muy bien de Pinto... no hace unas semanas lo tachaban de "malo"?

When you simplify things, you can make anything sound stupid. By simplifying football, you are raining in on the Colombianos parade, despite claiming otherwise. Just because you don't think it is important, doesn't mean to say that it isn't.

Football is a culture. It is THE world sport. To demean its importance is to not understand it. Countries put the best of their talent and football intelligence on the world stage, to compete against other nations. Colombia triumphed on this occasion. They should be proud.

Colombiche, I agree, I don't think Argentina is unbeatable either (I would have to be a moron to still they are unbeatable after last night ;)) What I was stressing is that realistically they are the best team in the world (despite the loss), and I did this to remind everyone how impressive and significant Colombia's win last night was. Ecuador beat Argentina and Brazil at home during qualification for the Mundial 2006, and that's how they qualified. If Colombia can do the same, well, they will qualify for 2010.

Lucas no se preocupe, la verdad es que conozco a muchos Argentinos aca en Canada, la mayoria son humildes, y muy orgullosos. Los Argentinos saben perder, y lo hacen con clase. De todas formas ustedes todavia tienen el equipo que mas me da alegria ver (despues de Inglaterra obviamente, y Colombia a veces), pues juegan bonito, hermoso futbol, mejor en este momente que Brazil. Cierre las orejas a la gente que le insulte a vos, pues yo estoy acostumbrado de eso como hincha Inglaterra! No vale la pena

Whether these Colombians are from Bogota or not is irrelevant, the fact is that there are many 'Colombianos LAMBONES' who love to jump on the bandwagon and kiss the opposing team's asses!! Just look at all those idiots who screamed and howled outside the hotel where the Brasilians were staying, cheering them on and wearing Brasilian jerseys, as if they were the world champions...which they are not!
