This game is about to get going...
Colombia is holding onto a playoff berth for a world cup spot (Playoff against a north american team)... actually Chile is a direct rival for this spot so they need at least a tie. However, if Colombia doesn't win then Pinto will be on the hot seat...

coffee beaner says on Sep 10, 2008, 18:09: Thats what Pinto gets for calling up players like Anchico, Portocarrero, Tressor, F. Vargas, Giovanni Hernandez and Humberto Mendoza even though this last one didn't play. Deja la rosca Pinto!

utopiacowboy says on Sep 10, 2008, 21:59: How come Juan Pablo Angel from the NY Red Bulls or Luis Gabriel Rey from the Mexican league aren't playing? There is still a lot of life in those guys. Disclaimer: any comment I make is inane and is not to be taken seriously, and is so patently ridiculous that no one should take it seriously, even as an insult. 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

brano says on Sep 11, 2008, 01:35: no offense, but if theres no drug money involved in colombia football they have no chance on international level. maybe im wrong and its also the lack of young players with motivation and big heart...
